Studing the tectonic and structural development as well as their relationship with volcanic intrusion in Beshree area
Name of study:
Studing the tectonic and structural development as well as their relationship with volcanic intrusion in Beshree area.
Aim of study:
Building a tectonic and new tectonic as well as studing the structure overview of Beshree area developing, to use it in future as a basic for scientific and economic field survey. Also to compare it with logical tectonic in the neighboring areas and to explain the magnesium of volcanic intrusions along the happening period.
This project also aims to:
- Adding a base for understanding the structure of the study area.
- Understanding the type and the separating movement ratio along the time and place.
- Study the relationship between the tectonic movement and volcanic activity in the study area.
- Study the possibility of relating the projects results with earthquake, new tectonic and active faults studies in this area.
Abstract:
This project has studied the new tectonic of Beshree by relating it with tectonic development and interior structure of the Beshree, by using several available techniques as using remote sensing techniques, image processing and analysis techniques of satellite data, structural horizontal and vertical geomorphology analysis techniques as well as analyzing and processing geophysical data (gravity and magnetic) then verifying the results using geological and tectonic maps and field survey for area under investigation.
Plan of study:
As a results from this project many maps and charts as structural map-geomorphologic map chart geomorphology profile lineament map –gravity and magnetic maps were built.
